At the weekend (May 28th and 29th), the temperatures will therefore be below the 20-degree mark, explains qualified meteorologist Dominik Jung from the Q.met weather service to wetter.net.
At weekends there can even be ground frost at higher altitudes. In keeping with the meteorological start of summer, the weather will move towards summery regions again from Wednesday (June 1).

However, due to the sharp increase in temperature from Wednesday (June 1st), the risk of severe weather in Germany is increasing again, according to Jung. Storm gusts, hail and heavy rain are possible, warns the online weather service wetter.net. But tornadoes could also occur again. The risk in Germany should be very high, especially on Thursday (June 2nd).

- Sunday (May 29): 12 to 17 degrees, the day begins with cool temperatures that will not rise much during the day, with little rain and a mix of clouds and sun, it then continues throughout the day
- Monday (May 30th): 12 to 20 degrees, isolated shows and clouds in the north, mostly sunny and dry in the rest of the republic
- Tuesday (May 31): 17 to 24 degrees, friendly mix of sun and clouds
- Wednesday (June 1st): 22 to 30 degrees, lots of sun, from the afternoon thunderstorms with the risk of severe weather
- Thursday (June 2nd): 24 to 32 degrees, muggy to hot, with a high potential for severe weather and the risk of tornadoes
- Friday (June 3): 23 to 31 degrees, partly sun, partly thunderstorm with risk of severe weather
