In Brazil, preparations begin for the Rio Carnival

Rio prepares for its world famous carnival. Brazilians celebrate their first street parties, a tradition before the event. The carnival season begins on January 13 and lasts until February 18, with dances, parties and the parade at the Sambadrome for which the samba schools prepare vigorously.
