A giant image of the president of Colombia Gustavo Petro appeared in a football stadium in Tunisia, during a match in the final of lhe African Champions League.

The hobby ofl Espérance Sportive of Tunisia exhibited different mosaics with which the fans expressed their support for Palestinedue to the conflict he lives with Israel.

In the images, the fans wanted to remember the Colombian president, who is a staunch defender of the Palestinian cause.

In fact, in the last week, on the occasion of the visit to Bogotá of Palestino from Chile, to face Millonarios in the Copa Libertadores, President Petro expressed himself in favor of the club that was founded by the Palestinian community.

A giant Palestinian flag appeared outside the El Campín stadium. It was even said in press versions that the Petro Government promoted the entry of the giant flag into the stadium and that this was denied by Conmebol protocol. However, the Government Secretariat denied such management.

Well, President Petro’s position on the Palestinian case has transcended borders and that is why the fans of this African club displayed this flag. In the image there appears a drawing of President Petro with a white shirt and with a Colombian flag on his shoulder.
