I almost understand the ideological struggle that the left to the left of the left, or whatever we have to call it now, carries out not only against the rich, as the rubes say, but against the well-off or not even, just against what remains middle class. Both Sumar and Bildu or ERC sarcastically boast of being “wrestling” from the socialists issues that were not included in their electoral program nor were they ever included in their way of understanding Spanish society. What happens is that by “taking away” things from a majority party like the PSOE we can conclude that we are witnessing a government of minority parties that seek the applause of their parish and do not think at all about the one that will never vote for them.
