Ottawa’s strong streak continues, Dallas suffered its first straight loss.
Dallas Stars went scoreless for the first time this fall when it lost to the Ottawa Senators.
The Senators, who got significantly stronger in the summer, were by no means bad in their first two games, but they still lost. Since then, the Senators have won four in a row. Stars fell 4–2.
The winning goal was scored in the third period Shane Pintowho vaccinated Jani Hakanpää from puck loss.
Dallas led the game for a long time. Joel Kiviranta cruised to a 1–0 goal in the opening set.

German star Leon Draisaitl took the Oilers on a backpack when Connor McDavid injured himself and walked around the locker room before returning to the ice. Draisaitl scored 1+2 and pulled the Oilers to victory.
