“I am here for those who cannot come”, “Mazón a la karcher”, “Sánchez and Mazón, neither forgetfulness nor forgiveness”, are some of the banners that could be seen this Saturday in the city of València, in a demonstration mass to which thousands of people have attended to demand responsibilities for the management of DANA.
From 5 p.m. this Saturday, columns with hundreds of protesters arrive in the Valencian capital from the municipalities of l’Horta Sud, the region most affected by the storm that has left more than 200 fatalities. The protesters have traveled kilometers on foot and arrive covered in mud after collaborating in the cleaning tasks in the mornings, dressed with banners and even cleaning utensils. People of all ages and entire families, summoned by dozens of entities and shouting “Mazón resignation.”
