The Hyundai electric range is ready to expand with the introduction of the new one Inster. Or if you prefer the new Casper Electric. Yes, because on the global markets it will have the first name, on the home market, the Korean one, it will have the second: the only certainty is that it will be presented at the Busan International Mobility Show in Korea at the end of June, and that it will be the Hyundai’s first A-segment subcompact electric model.
The new Hyundai Inster
The Korean car manufacturer has released the first official teaser images of the new model. We don’t know much about this car to date, other than that “will establish new standards in terms of range, technology and safety features, redefining what customers can expect from a vehicle in this class.” However, an indicative data has been provided: the relative one to autonomyequal to approximately 355 kilometers in the WLTP cycle.
Exteriors and autonomy
As for design, the new Hyundai Inster will be based on the Casper, which means it will share much of its overall shape with the small Korean crossover (although it should be larger than the latter). In particular, the front circular LED daytime running lights are clearly visible at the front, and attract attention just like the rear lights, also LED, which have been redesigned and now feature a simpler pixel design. Furthermore, the charging door will be positioned on the front.
Price less than 20,000 euros?
At the moment we know little or nothing about the interiors, except that as in the case of the external design there will be different ones inherited cues from Casper: in this sense we are talking about the presence of a digital instrument panel, a large central screen for the infotainment system and a large three-spoke steering wheel. In terms of performance and performance, we will have to wait for the car’s official debut in Busan. Finally, first rumors regarding the price: less than 20,000 euros.
