Finland Eurovisa representatives Teemu Keisteri and Henri Piispanen after the Eurovision final, they seemed above all relieved when they gave their last comments to the Finnish media.
“It was amazing to perform in the final. The last performance went great. We saved up for this, and finally got to give exactly what I wanted: my art and joy. There was a dark cloud here, so we were able to give people joy and love,” said Keisteri.
Keisteri and Piispanen emphasized that they were very happy that the Eurovision winner went to the person who represented Switzerland For Nemo.
“We love Nemo. The profit went to the right address,” said Keisteri.
In the Eurovision final Windows95man ranked No Rules – with their song to the 19th place. Keisteri and Piispanen did not seem to be in any way disappointed with the end result.
“I’m really proud of us,” Piispanen said.
“It’s great that we made it to the final. Eurovision is really a no rules contest. You never know how they will turn out. You can be proud that we pulled it off under great pressure. We had fun on stage, and everything went smoothly,” said Keisteri.
The two did not want to analyze in more detail why Finland did not receive more audience points. Before the final, it was predicted that Finland’s catch in audience points could have been very high. In the end, Finland received 31 audience points. Finland’s total score was 38.
“The Eurovision Song Contest is like throwing darts.”
Above all both Finnish representatives wanted to emphasize how much they have enjoyed their journey together at Eurovision and how happy they are about the friendship they have formed during the Eurovision experience. Keisteri and Piispanen did not know each other before No Rules project.
“This has been quite a rollercoaster. It’s wonderful that we have been able to do this together,” said Keisteri.
“We have been in a strange symbiosis and learned to read each other. When one has had a bad day, the other has had a good one. Alone, this would have been a mentally ill difficult set.”
Piispanen agreed, saying that it is rare in his thirties to find the kind of friendship he has experienced with Keister.
At the end of the heavy visa experience, the duo said they were waiting to rest.
