The devastating passage of the DANA through the Valencian Community, Castilla-La Mancha and Andalusia has caused extensive material damage and will force the surviving victims to face many expenses during the coming months, but in some cases they will benefit from different measures aimed at alleviating the cost of repairs.
This is the case of boilers and different gas installations and equipment, as well as the appliances in flooded homes, which have been seriously affected by the floods or have even been left directly unusable.
In this sense, Naturgy has announced both the replacement or repair of boilers or heaters as financial aid for the replacement of washing machines and refrigerators of its clients residing in the areas affected by the torrential rains of DANA. In addition, free inspections will be carried out on facilities that appear to be operating in order to ensure their safety.
It will be Nedgia, Naturgy’s gas distributor, that will be in charge of all this aid, which will have an estimated cost of about 15 million euros and will benefit, according to the company’s calculations, about 25,000 homes and businesses in the Valencian Community .
