How should you drink tequila? Javier Aguirre, Mallorca’s Mexican coach, explains it

The Mallorca coach, the Mexican Javier Aguirre, always gives press conferences that convey the good humor that represents him. This time, in an interview with ‘DAZN’ after the game, and because of the celebration, a journalist asked him if after leaving the stadium he would go and celebrate with some drinks and with tequila, characteristic alcoholic drink Mexico.

Aguirre, with the good humor that represents him, responded laughing with an anecdote that occurred at the celebration of his 65th birthday.

“Tequila, no. Note that on my birthday I overdid it with tequila and, after 65 years, I had a hangover, I had never had a hangover,” he said.

For this reason, the coach continues, he is away from tequila although, for him, “it is great.” However, he is aware that he is very far from his homeland and took the opportunity to advise the journalist and, furthermore, those who were watching the interview.
