Every Mexican who wishes to enter the United States must present a mandatory American visaa document that allows certain activities to be carried out according to the type of document that has been processed.

The most common visa is visitoralso known as B1/B2 tourist, with which you can carry out a series of activities related to leisure, shopping, business, visiting friends or family, and to receive medical treatment.

It is necessary to emphasize that a B1/B2 tourist visa prohibits a foreigner from studying or working in USAsince to do so you have to obtain the corresponding visa, in order to avoid facing immigration problems.

In addition, foreigners' access to the North American country is restricted, that is, you can only travel freely through the United States for the time that a security officer Customs and Border Protection (CBP) authorize.

Take into account that the maximum time that a foreign person can stay in the USA with a B1/B2 American tourist visa is 180 days, although it allows multiple entry over ten years.
