Like every year, the Princess of Asturias Foundation will deliver again in 2024 the Princess of Asturias Awards in the afternoon of this Friday October 25. These awards aim to distinguish the scientific, cultural, social and humanistic work of various people or institutions during recent years.
This ceremony will be celebrated as in previous editions, it will be presided over by the kings, Felipe VI and Letizia, and by Princess Leonor. It will take place in the Campoamor Theater in Oviedo (Asturias) from 18:30 and will end around 8:00 p.m. The gala can be followed live on the ABC website.
The Princess of Asturias Awards 2024 are awarded in the following areas: Arts, Social Sciences, Communication and Humanities, Concord, International Cooperation, Sports, Scientific and Technical Research, Letters. These are the winners of this edition.

How much money do the winners of the Princess of Asturias Awards get?
The winners of the Princess of Asturias Award not only receive this distinction, but they will also take home a juicy sum of money. The prize amount amounts to 50,000 euroswhich will be distributed “equally among the winners” if the prize is shared.
In addition to this large amount of money, the winners will also receive a sculpture by Joan Miró, a diploma and a badge.
