TOtlético Bucaramanga and Santa Fe are ready for the grand final of the League, starting this Saturday. The first game will be at the Alfonso López stadium, while the second leg will be played in El Campín on June 15. Both meetings will be at 7:30 at night.
This is how the new Colombian soccer champion will be defined
If that happens, there will be shots from the penalty spot. This is how the last three finals of the championship have been defined: Pereira vs. Medellín, in 2022-II (the ‘matecañas’ won their first title after two draws, 1-1 and 0-0); Millionaires vs. Nacional, in 2023-I (with a star for the blues, also after two equalities, 0-0 and 1-1) and Medellín vs. Junior, in 2023-II (the Barranquilleros won 3-2 at home, lost 2-1 at the Atanasio and then made the Olympic return as visitors.
Bucaramanga had never reached a final in short tournaments and the only time it was in a title definition was in the 1996/97 season, in which it lost both games against América de Cali (0-1 at the Alfonso López and 2-0 at Pascual Guerrero).
