According to the study published by the Center for Nasr Muhammad Aref, under the title “Linked to the Brotherhood, the involvement of American Islamic organizations in Arab political conflicts”, Islamic organizations in the United States are considered tools in the hands of the Brotherhood, which it exploits as it pleases to fuel conflicts in the countries of the East or the countries in which it is located. those groups.
The study indicates that these Islamic organizations in the United States did not achieve the hoped-for of being part of the American society and able to influence it, and in the process of making internal and foreign policy to achieve their interests and the interests of the communities that express them, and on the contrary, most of these organizations got involved In political conflicts in the countries of the Arab world and South Asia, as if they were established to serve the Brotherhood in those countries.
The study confirms that for more than half a century, American Islamic organizations have walked a long, winding path that hindered them from establishing their roots in American society. To serve the interests and goals of political groups in the East, they employed them in their political conflicts with the countries in which these groups are located.
The study confined the two largest affiliated organizations of the Brotherhood in the United States, which are “CARE” and “MAS”, where the Brotherhood organization “CARE” issues the image of the organization that defends Muslims who are persecuted or oppressed inside the United States, but it is a Brotherhood organization that the Brotherhood exploited to achieve interests of her.
As for the second organization, “MAS”, it is led by someone who handles the affairs of the Muslim Brotherhood in America, and therefore the organization is completely subordinate to the Brotherhood.
The study concluded that confronting organizations that deviate from the role specified for them in its statute, and in the American law that authorized their existence, must take place inside the United States and not outside it.
For her part, Dalia Ziadeh, director of the Egyptian Center for Free Democratic Studies, believes that after the fall of the Brotherhood’s terrorist rule in Egypt in 2013, they did not find a place for themselves in decision-making circles in Europe and America, because their group is already classified as a terrorist organization in many countries, and therefore it was among the It is difficult for many officials to meet or deal with them as members of the Brotherhood.
She explained to “Sky News Arabia” that in light of this new situation, the Brotherhood resorted to the description of “human rights activist” or human rights workers and other descriptions that suggest that they are working for a cause valued and respected by the West, which is human rights, and not to serve their group and its agenda, which It is in fact against human rights.
And she continued: “Among them is Muhammad Sultan. Muhammad was not known in Egypt at all before his arrest and imprisonment in the years after the fall of the Brotherhood’s rule, because he is the son of Salah Sultan, the well-known Brotherhood leader, and after his release he traveled to America and worked from there against Egypt and describes himself human rights activist.
She added that Muhammad Sultan disavows his affiliation with the group all the time, and claims that he is only a human rights activist, despite the fact that he explicitly serves the Brotherhood.
