Colombians living abroad can now vote for the second presidential round. With the opening of polling stations in New Zealand last Sunday, voting began outside the national territory.

Who can vote abroad? According to the Registry, all Colombians who are part of the electoral census abroad. That is, all citizens who have their ID registered at a polling station outside the country.
Where and who? According to official data, a total of 972,764 Colombians are eligible to vote at 1,352 tables installed, in 250 positions, from 67 countries. The authorized points are the embassies and consular offices.
Even when? Voting will be enabled during June 13 and 19, between 8 am and 4 pm
What documents must be submitted? “The voters, in the country and abroad, must only present the yellow citizenship card with holograms or the digital card, in physical or on the cell phone. It is not allowed to vote with the password or with another document”, it says on the website of the Registry.
