Housing Eeva Louhio and Arja Holma have lived in an artist’s villa in The Hague for more than 40 years – there is a constantly growing work of art in the basement of the house that is unparalleled

Eeva Louhio (left) and Arja Holma have created wall art on the ground floor of their home that makes them rub their eyes.

HS got a visit to the Moomin House in The Hague, where winter war reconnaissance has been done, cupping patients have been treated and communal life has been lived. However, the most interesting thing is related to the basement of the house, on the walls of which two residents have created a real art experience.

Plate crumbles into fragments and is not an injury. Arja Holma does not settle for it, but takes from the shelf a cup whose ear has come off.

The mug is from the trash can, a friend’s closet, or maybe the free section of the recycling center. Whatever it is, its fate is sealed and inevitable: a towel around and a hammer to sing.
