The creative producer of House of the DragonRyan Condal, confirmed that the promise of including five new dragons in the series will happen and will be during the second season.
He is willing to keep his word, and in this way they will play a crucial role in the civil war between the two factions of House Targaryen. That will undoubtedly involve a huge investment in special effects to bring these legendary creatures to life.

However, he did not want to say when or where the new dragons will appear in the second season of House of the Dragon. But there are some cast members who have advanced things on their own. That is the case of Bethany Antonia, who plays Baela Targaryen.
