For the first time in history, River’s women’s soccer team will play at home in the Antonio Vespucio Liberti stadium. The millionaires will make their debut on their court, nothing more and nothing less than against Boca, the classic rival, for the fifth date of the First Division Tournament. The appointment is Sunday, March 27 at 4:00 p.m.

For a long time, members, fans and organizations of River had been claiming from the institution that the women’s soccer team have the same right as the men’s to play matches in its main stadium. While other first division clubs were opening their doors to the central courts, Núñez’s club did not respond. This week it came. The millionaires will play in the Monumental although they will do it behind closed doors due to the renovations that are being done in the stadium, they explained from the club.
The claims to the institutions were bearing fruit, until now the only club that has not opened the doors of its main stadium is Estudiantes de La Plata.
On Sunday, the team led by Daniela Díaz will take to the field to face their classic rival and will seek to keep the three points that would keep them at the top of the table. There where it shares the first place precisely with Boca and with UAI Urquiza.
