Highwater finally it has a release date regarding the versions PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. This interesting adventure in a world submerged under water will be available on these platforms starting from March 14, 2024, i.e. exactly one year after the launch of the mobile versions via the Netflix subscription. Confirmation came via an official trailer, which you can find in the player below.
Highwater is a 3D strategic turn-based combat adventure with an isometric view, set in a post-apocalyptic world almost completely submerged by water due to a climate catastrophe and which approaches the issues of climate change.
A boat trip
We will take on the role of Nikos, who, intrigued by rumors according to which the population of the super-rich fortress city Alphaville will soon flee to Mars, will set out on a journey to be able to sneak inside, discover the truth about this alleged exodus and possibly secure a place on the departing rocket.
In our review of Highwater on mobile, despite a somewhat bland pace and a combat system that is not particularly deep, we rewarded Demagog Studio's adventure thanks to its unique atmosphere, the charm given by the exploration of this underwater world and some original ideas from the strategic phases.
