The forecast of climate informs that the Heat wave spreads in Mexico for several days. It is expected that the maximum temperatures reach extreme levels in the states of Michoacán, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Veracruz, Tabasco and Campechewhere today they could exceed 45 °C.

– Between 35 and 40 °C: Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Durango, Zacatecas, Aguascalientes, Guanajuato, Querétaro, State of Mexico (southwest), Puebla (north and southwest) and Quintana Roo.
– Between 30 and 35 °C: Tlaxcala and Mexico City.
These exceptionally high temperatures can represent a health risk, so the population is recommended to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to the sun and take preventive measures.
Cold front in the northwest and rain in other regions
On the other hand, a cold front (No. 46) moves over the northwest Mexico, while acquiring stationary characteristics over the north of the country. This system will interact with a low pressure channel in the northeast and east of Mexico, along with other atmospheric conditions, which could cause strong gusts of wind, showers and rains strong in several areas.
