Now, through the social network Facebook, the account of Selva Teenek Ecopark, Environmental Management Unit (UMA) of San Luis Potosi, shared that a tyrannical eagle (Spizaetus tyrannus) had fallen from the sky due to suspected heat stroke.
Leticia Leyva Zuviri, director of Tourism of the municipality of Aquismón, San Luis Potosí, was in charge of transferring it to the Environmental Management Unit for attention. However, the eagle could not be saved and died.
The reason why the species died was because it had injuries to its digestive tract. It should be noted that the UMA revealed that the tyrant eagle is a species that is in danger of extinction in Mexico.
