“We can say that today Alzheimer’s disease is less scary, because we know that we can prevent it. In fact, we already have evidence of an overall reduced incidence because the control of risk factors can postpone the onset of this condition related to the aging of the population”. This was stated by Alessandro Padovani, founding member and member of the Board of Directors of Airalzh Onlus, president of Sin and clinical director of Neurology at Asst Spedali Civili di Brescia, on the sidelines of the event organized by Airalzh, the Italian Association for Alzheimer Research Onlus, on the occasion of its tenth anniversary of foundation.
