“There are two key factors for the sustainability of the healthcare system: digitalisation and prevention. We must invest more in the latter and think about regulations that can act upstream on factors such as air pollution and climate change which have very negative effects on respiratory diseases. The other aspect, that of digitalisation, we must have the ability to take advantage of all the technological advantages that we may have. We are making important steps on the ESF as well as on telemedicine, a pillar of the NHS at a territorial level which is based on proximity.” Said Raffaello Innocenti, CEO and Managing Director Chiesi Italia, during the Digital Health Forum which was held in Rome at Palazzo Wedekind.
