Cuauhtémoc, Chih.– The information presented by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Western District was valid for a Control Judge to dictate a sentence of 9 years in prison against Sergio Ernesto SO, as responsible for aggravated rape.
The ministerial investigations establish that the accused is responsible for the sexual assault against a minor, whose identity is being withheld.
The events took place on February 1, 2021 in the town of Rituchi, municipality of Bocoyna, and on February 4, the complaint was formally filed with the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
The police report states that the 30-year-old man attacked the minor who was left alone in the house.
Sergio Ernesto was arrested on February 28 in the town of Panalachi, municipality of Bocoyna.
The ministerial and investigative work provided the necessary evidence to bring the person responsible before the authorities, with this social representation taking prompt action, guaranteeing the protection and safety of the women of Chihuahua.
