The reconstruction of the dramatic home accident that cost the life of 80-year-old Graziano Canova

Around 8.30 this morning, Sunday 29 September, a tragic fatality took the life of an 80-year-old man, Graziano Canova, resident in the Comasco area.

He had climbed onto the roof of his house to carry out some repair work when, suddenly, the 80-year-old he lost his balance and fell, making a flight of several meters.

Based on what emerged from the first reconstructions of the dramatic episode, Caneva fell from the ladder while he was carrying out some maintenance work on the roof of his house in Carlazzo, in the province of Como.

The relatives immediately raised the alarm and requested emergency services. The 118 doctors and paramedics promptly arrived at the site of the tragic accident and desperately tried to save him by carrying out resuscitation operations. Unfortunately, however, every attempt by the health workers was in vain: there was nothing the man could do. The doctors who attended could not help but confirm that he had died.

Investigations underway into the tragic death of the 80-year-old

In addition to the health workers, the emergency services also arrived on site Carabinieri of Menaggio to proceed with the investigation of the case in order to clarify the precise and exact dynamics of the accident.

The forensic doctors do not exclude the possibility that Graziano Caneva may have first been struck by an illness and then fallen from the roof of the house. The investigations by the investigators will resolve any doubts regarding the causes that led the 80-year-old to his death.
