Today's morning, April 23, a serious incident occurred car accident on the A1 towards Bologna. A car and two trucks were involved, with dramatic consequences for the driver of the car. The images transmitted by the fire brigade highlight the intensity of the clash and the importance of the event.
The man involved, a 50-year-old Italian, was transported in very serious conditions to the San Gerardo hospital in Monza. The use of an air ambulance was necessary for the transport, given the seriousness of his condition and that of the car in which he was trapped. The accident occurred on the stretch of road between San Giuliano and San Donato Milanese, when the car driven by the man was first hit by an articulated lorry and then hit a second lorry, inevitably being crushed.
The driver was extracted from the car by the staff of the Piazzale Cuoco detachment and urgently transported to code red to the hospital thanks to the intervention ofhelicopter rescue of 118.
