A young man thought he had achieved the American dream by entering the United States illegally, but he was detained by the country's Border Patrol. Immediately, the agents discovered that he was wanted in El Salvador, so he was finally handed over to the authorities of his country.
The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service (ICE) reported that El Paso deported Herson Bladimir Molina Linares, a 30-year-old Salvadoran national.
It all started when they identified him and began to investigate him. There they discovered that he was wanted in his country of origin, since he was facing a case of aggravated extortion. The next day, he received a Notice and Order of Expedited Removal. He was transferred to ICE custody on November 15 and detained at the Otero County Processing Center until his deportation on December 15.
In this regard, the newspaper My Texas Daily posted a message from ERO El Paso Field Office Director Mary De Anda-Ybarra: “ERO El Paso's cooperation with foreign authorities has proven beneficial time and time again in not only ensuring that dangerous people attempting to evade justice are expelled from our country, but also to make our communities safer,” he said. “Our message is this: The United States is not a safe haven for international fugitives seeking to avoid the law in their home country.”
