Haval unveils new Dargo SUV

The Chinese automobile company Haval has unveiled the Dargo SUV.

According to the portal “Chinese cars”, the first display of the Haval Dargo took place at the Jeddah Motor Show in Saudi Arabia. Its export name – Dargo was also confirmed there.

Saudi Arabia will become the first foreign market for the model, after which the novelty will also appear in Iraq, Chile, Russia, Ukraine and other countries.

The car is developed on the LEMON platform, which formed the basis for the Jolion crossover, presented on the Russian market in May. The dimensions of the model are 4620 × 1890 × 1780 mm with a wheelbase of 2738 mm.

In Russia, the SUV will be offered with a two-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 211 hp, which works in combination with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches and an all-wheel drive system. It is expected that in Russia, in order to save on transport tax, the output of the unit will be reduced to 200 hp.

On August 4, it was reported that Haval unveiled a new crossover called Monster.

In China, the Haval Monster will be offered with a 1.5-liter petrol turbo engine with 184 hp. Hybrid versions of the model will appear later.
