The Mercedes Englishman lands in Mexico and points to Max Verstappen, who precedes him by twelve points: “There are many ways to lose, what matters is to give your best and teamwork. The controversy? I want to win correctly”
Five races to go until the end of the 2021 F1 season and Lewis Hamilton has no intention of abdicating in favor of Max Verstappen, who strengthened his leadership with the win in Austin by digging a small 12-point rut. The seven-time world champion shows up at the Autodrome Hermanos Rodriguez with the usual desire, promising battle (the times of the Mexican GP): “Red Bull is definitely the favorite, in recent years they have been faster than us – he says. Hamilton – but our goal is still victory. ” Lewis then talks about the confrontation with the Dutch rival, who this year saw sporty dramatic moments like in Monza: “I don’t want to win the championship incorrectly, I always try to respect everyone by focusing on my skills, determination and toughness. We have to be an example – the English says – children look at us.
Win or lose

Lewis believes in it and seems to have the winning formula: “We have to face the weekend to the limit to get the best, it won’t be easy.” The question is all between victory and defeat and for Hamilton there is something that seems to matter more: “There are many ways to lose but what really matters is to always give your all to the end and work hard together with the team.” Finally, a comment on the current season: “One of the most exciting in recent years, lived on a roller coaster: where we thought we were competitive as in Austin, they actually surprised. My final goal is still to win”.
