Although many were happy with the release of halo-infinite in December, others worried when the co-op campaign and Forge mode didn’t debut last year. Although 343 Industries promised that Master Chief’s new adventure could be enjoyed in the company of a friend just as the second season of this title begins, it was recently revealed that won’t be the case, as co-op has been delayed.
Through a statement on Halo Waypoint, 343 Industries confirmed that the cooperative campaign of halo-infinite It will not be available on May 3, the day the second season of this title will begin. Instead, the developers promise to continue working on this section, which will now arrive at some point in the second season. This was what was said about it:
“We will not be able to launch campaign online co-op on May 3, at the start of Season 2. But we still aim to offer campaign online co-op later in Season 2, and we will share a release date.” release for that and for split-screen co-op as soon as we can.”
343 Industries has pointed out that this delay is because they are working hard to ensure that the campaign can be enjoyed without problems with four people online, as well as split screen on a single console. Specifically, it is mentioned that making the giant open world and the freedom that is given to the player manage to work in this mode.
The cooperative campaign of halo-infinite be available at some point in the game’s second season. On related topics, this title will receive several improvements. Similarly, the series of Halo will show us the face of Master Chief.
Editor’s Note:
It is a pity that a mode so loved by the public is still far from his hands. However, considering all the work 343 Industries has had over the past few months, this delay makes sense. We only hope that the wait does not extend further in the future.
