It was recently revealed that Marty O’Donnell, original Halo composer, sued Microsoft in June 2020, this due to the non-payment of royalties during the last 20 years. Although this conflict started last year, a meditation date has finally been set for next week. In the event that those involved do not reach an agreement, this legal problem could well stop the premiere of the series of Halo.
According to Eurogamer, O’Donnell has instructed his lawyers to seek to block the upcoming premiere of the television series. with a court order, since Paramount has used music by this composer for the show of Halo in the promotional material of the production, this without crediting it.
