Inhabitants of the municipalities of Saint Nicholas and ApodacaNuevo León, were surprised after hail began to fall in said communities.
According to social media users, the surprising event occurred around 5:30 p.m. this Sunday, and lasted for a few minutes. In addition, there were strong gusts of wind.
On the afternoon of Saturday, May 25, the National Water Comission (Conagua) issued the first short-term warning due to the drastic change in meteorological conditions in the metropolitan area.
State Civil Protection maintains a special preventive program active due to the arrival of rains, working specifically with the prevention of floods, overflowing of rivers and streams, as well as the loss of human life and property damage.
They also asked drivers to drive with caution and in case of any emergency to call 911.
