Green cars, everything you need to know about the incentives starting today

They leave today incentives to purchase green cars in Italy. From 10am on Monday 3 June, through the platform managed by Invitaliathere will be the possibility for dealerships to carry out the reservations. In the circular dated May 27ththe Mimit – reports Il Sole 24 Ore – has clarified that for the purposes of implementing the provisions contained in the Prime Ministerial Decree of 20 May 2024, with which the resources and incentives in question were remodelled, from 3 June 2024 it is possible to carry out the contribution reservations (referred to in articles 2 and 3 of the Prime Ministerial Decree). At a later time, it will also be possible access to the increased contribution provided for taxi drivers and NCC authorized persons.

There are many new features: first of all among subsidized vehicles are also included company cars of joint-stock companies and, in general, of legal persons; furthermore, the new values ​​provided – continues Il Sole – are higher than the previous ones: especially for cars you can reach a maximum contribution of 6 thousand euroswithout scrapping, e up to 11 thousand with scrapping (or, respectively, up to a maximum of 7,500 and 13,750 for natural persons with an ISEE of less than 30 thousand euros; reward offered again after a pause period). So, in case of scrapping, it comes differentiated the amount of the contribution recognized depending on the class of the vehicle sold (Euro 1, 2, 3, etc.). Similar provisions are envisaged for new approved cars in a class no lower than Euro 6, with emissions included in the 21-60 g/km of CO2 range or in the 61-135 g/km of CO2 range.
