According to local media, the grandmother (53 years old) and the girl’s mother, Kadjah Record (29 years old), were arrested on Friday. Both are being investigated for aggravated homicide.
Roxanne would have forced her granddaughter, China Record, to consume the liquor as part of a punishment. This happened in the presence of the minor’s mother.

According to the British media ‘Daily Mail’, the brothers of the deceased girl said that their grandmother was upset because China had taken a sip of the alcoholic beverage.
To punish her, he demanded that she finish drinking the rest of the whiskey in the bottle.

After receiving reports that a girl was unconscious, police were dispatched to a home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (United States) on Thursday morning, reports ‘Los Angeles Times’. However, China Record was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause: alcohol intoxication.
According to the authorities, the girl had an alcohol level of 0.680% in her blood.
