Jorge Martin touches the limit in the still dry PL3 of the Thai Grand Prix. The Ducati Pramac rider stopped the clock at 1’30 ″ 205 ahead of Jack Miller and Fabio Quartararo who improved their respective limits, the latter even with a pair of medium tires. Seven Ducatis directly qualified for Q2, the only absent is that of Fabio Di Giannantonio. Fabio Quartararo, Brad Binder with KTM and Alex Rins with Suzuki complete the group of riders already admitted to the decisive phase of Qualifying.
Excluding Marc Marquez, who had been the fastest in FP1 and had almost completed a lap from the very first positions only to miss the braking of the last treacherous corner. Also Aleix Espargarò as well as Maverick Vinales were forced to look for the passage in Q1, but for now the Aprilia RS-GP has not digested the Buriram track in the dry.
It should be noted that Raul Fernandez did not take to the track due to a stomach ache. Last position for Danilo Petrucci, not far from the riders ahead of him.
