Senacon also stated that airlines must provide passengers with ticket changes free of charge. Refunds or credits for flight cancellations must be full, with no fees charged.
The statement also said that companies should make an effort to transport passengers to the airport closest to their disembarkation location, prioritizing those who have already issued tickets.
WHAT AZUL SAYS
To the Power360Azul said that “will present all clarifications to Senacon, within the established deadline”.
SALGADO FILHO CLOSED
Anac suspended this Wednesday (May 22) for an indefinite period of aircraft landing and takeoff operations at Salgado Filho Airport. The measure is due to the rains and floods that hit the state in the last month.
On the most critical days of rain this May, aerial images showed Salgado Filho airport completely covered by water. In some sections it was impossible to see parts of the landing and take-off runway. It has been closed since May 3rd.
