Google Pixel 9 comes out into the open in its entire lineup with the first live shots

The Pixel 9 series hasn’t made its official debut yet, but rumors about different models planned for this year are already attracting the attention of mobile enthusiasts.

After a series of rumors last month, some shots that appear to match the real models suddenly emerged on the web.

This is certainly the biggest revelation yet, showing theentire range of Google smartphones from various angles and comparing it in terms of size with other devices.

The anonymous source who disclosed them implied that they come directly from the factory and, as is evident, they are functional.

The photos could represent the three members of the Google Pixel 9 family: the The standard Pixel 9, the Pixel 9 Pro, and the Pixel 9 Pro XL.

The images and comparisons

The leak published on Rozetked reveals a significant reworking of the design of the series, with a completely flat back panel and a curve-free screen, unlike previous models.

From an aesthetic point of view, the most obvious innovation is a major revision of the Bar roomwhich in these shots does not extend completely along the width of the smartphone, unlike what happens for example in Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, where the photographic module extends from edge to edge.
It seems that the Pro versions will feature a matte back with glossy frameswhile the base Pixel 9 will have a glossy back and matte bezels.

Some shots compare the Pixel 9 Pro to the iPhone 15 Pro and the Pixel 9 Pro XL to the iPhone 15 Pro Max; it seems that the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro are very similar in size.

Perhaps the standard model is slightly thinner, but the Camera Bar seems to stick out more.

A visual comparison reported by Rozetked explains that the new devices are larger than the previous rangeapproaching the Pixel 7 in size.

Technically speaking

According to the information obtained, Pixel 9 will have a capacity of 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, while both the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL will be equipped with 16 GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
These detailed specifications were disclosed via the AIDA64 application, which retrieved data directly from the analyzed devices.

The display dimensions they should vary between 6.24 inches, 6.34 inches and 6.73 inches, all three equipped with a 120 Hz high refresh rate AMOLED display.

For what concern photographic sectorthe Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL models should be distinguished by the presence of three 50 MP lenses, with 0.5x, 1x and 5x zoom capabilities.
On the other hand, the base model is expected to boast a dual camera capable of supporting 0.5x and 1x zoom.

An exclusive feature of the Pro models should be the inclusion of the stand Ultra Wideband (UWB), while all three devices are expected to be powered by the same chipset, presumably the Tensor G4 internally produced.

Although three smartphones were shown, it seems that Google is planning four models: the Pixel 9 (code name: Tokay), Pixel 9 Pro (code name: Caiman), Pixel 9 Pro XL (code name: Komodo) and Pixel 9 Fold, whose inclusion in the series has been talked about recently.

It’s still too early to see finalized products; the launch should take place as usual in autumn, between September and October.
