Conners succeeded on the 171-meter fairway.
Hole-in-one is every golfer’s dream that most will never achieve. And then there are those who seem to sink the ball into the hole with one stroke of that.
Canadian Corey Conners belongs to the latter – quite a few – group.
Conners hit his fourth hole-in in less than two years when he succeeded in the RBC Heritage tournament at Hilton Head, South Carolina.
Conners ’success was seen in the first round with a seventh hole measuring 187 yards, or about 171 meters. The ball hit the ground well before the hole and rolled straight into the cup, even though there was some rubbish on the green on the road.
“Holari” was Conners ’first this year. Last year, there were two successes, and in 2020, one.
The professional tour PGA Tour calls Conners the “king of the holers”.
After the first day, Conners shared fourth place with a result of -5. At the forefront was the United States Cameron Young with a result of –8.
