Nummenpää’s ranking was his best on the European Tour.
Elina Nummenpää finished in a handsomely shared third place in the women’s golf European tour competition in Sweden’s Fiskebäckskil. Nummenpää needed 199 strokes in his three rounds and ended up with a total score of -8.
Nummenpää played the final round at par pace with 69 strokes. He made three bogeys and three birdies in the final round, in addition to the par scores.
The birdie seen on the 12th hole was particularly beautiful, which came with a long, skillfully twisted putt.
The competition was won by Sweden Lynn Grant with a score of –10. Sweden took second place Lisa Pettersson, who missed the lead by a beat. Nummenpää shared third place with four other players, which brought a prize pool of 10,000 euros. The ranking is the best of his career on the European tour.
