ElAnalistaDeBits has published a video comparison between the PC version of God of War: Ragnarok with ultra settings and the one for PS5 released in 2022, highlighting the (few) differences between the two versions.
Needless to say, the PC version is virtually better, if only for the possibility of reaching both the target audience 4K and 60 or more fps provided you have a configuration of a certain level, not even too high from the sequences shown.
In any case, aside from the performance differences given by the hardware, the support for widescreen resolutions and the advantages given by upscaling technologies such as DLSS, FSR and XeSS, at the maximum graphical settings the two versions do not differ much from a visual point of view. In short, God of War: Ragnarok is certainly a beautiful sight on both PC and PS5, net of its nature as a cross-gen game.
Despite this, the game currently has a fairly low average rating on Steam, with most of the criticism being related to the fact that Sony forces you to connect a PSN account to play, with some users also currently complaining about technical problems that we hope will be resolved soon.
