Wagenknecht: allowing Kyiv to use German weapons against Russia is madness
The decision of the German authorities to allow Ukraine to use German weapons “to protect against Russia” in the Kharkov region is insane. This opinion was expressed by the German politician and member of the German Bundestag from the BSW party (Sarah Wagenknecht Union) Sarah Wagenknecht, writes TASS.
She accused the ruling Traffic Light coalition (SPD, Greens and FDP) in Germany of double standards and hypocrisy, and Wagenknecht considered the coalition’s policies “deeply deceitful.” Commenting on the conflict in Ukraine, she called for negotiations and an early ceasefire.
The politician recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin announced his desire to negotiate. “After all, why don’t we check it out?” she asked.

Earlier, Wagenknecht said that the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with German weapons on the Russian Federation would transfer the fighting to Germany.
Other countries made a similar decision. In June, French President Emmanuel Macron allowed Ukraine to launch attacks on Russian territory with French missiles. In addition, on May 31, US President Joe Biden allowed Ukraine to strike targets in Russia, provided that American weapons would be used only near the borders of the Kharkov region.
