Genoa – It ended today at the Doge’s Palace the eighth edition of the Limes festival, the Italian geopolitics magazine directed by Lucio Caracciolo.
In the three days of debates and interventions, Italian, French, American, German and English experts and protagonists explored the theme of what could be the geopolitical order of the world and of Italy in 2051. “The festival has thus confirmed itself this year as a venue for high-level public confrontation – commented Lucio Caracciolo -, destined to address the issues that affect relations between nations annually, especially those with the greatest impact on Italy”.
Among the speakers Lapo Pistelli, director of Public Affairs Eni, Roberto Cingolani, minister for ecological transition, Gregorio De Felice, chief economist Intesa Sanpaolo, Jacob Shapiro, geopolitical analyst, George Friedman, founder and director of Geopolitical Futures, Olivier Kempf, director of La Viegie, Maximilian Terhalla, associate professor at King’s College London, Andrew Gamble, professor in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Sheffield.
The three days of the festival with its 14 meetings, declined according to various themes accompanied by the maps of the cartographic exhibition “The shapes of the future” by Laura Canali, led to Palazzo Ducale more than 4 thousand visitors. On Friday morning, dedicated to schools, I statthe 750 students who followed the debate, of which 100 in the presence of the Ducale and 650 in connection with the various schools.
