Gearbox Entertainment announced its intention to fully acquire Lost Boys Interactive for an undisclosed sum. The independent studio was formed in 2017 and has worked on both co-development projects and their own IPs for PCs and consoles.
In addition to contributing to the development of call of Duty And PlayerUnknown’s BattlegroundsLost Boys previously worked with Gearbox on the recently released Borderlands spin-off, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. The studio will become a subsidiary of Gearbox Entertainment, operating independently while working with other Gearbox teams on the development of future games.

Gearbox itself was acquired by Embracer Group last year in a $ 1.3 billion deal.
