García-Gallardo (Vox) raises the racist tone in the Cortes of Castilla y León and insults Tudanca (PSOE) for reproaching him

Vox has presented this Tuesday a Non-Law Proposition (PNL) in the Cortes of Castilla y León with a set of measures aimed at stopping illegal immigration. The Group’s spokesperson, Juan García-Gallardo, has raised the difference in the origin of the migrants: “It is not the same to bring a Muslim Moroccan as a Catholic Argentine,” he pointed out.

The initiative has been rejected by the entire parliament except that of the radical populist right. The clash of positions has also occurred on the social network “A racist is the same in every country and every language. Here and in Germany. Right, Mr. García-Gallardo FRINGS?”, the leader of the PSOE has published.

García-Gallardo responded that his grandfather “could give him a few lessons on respect for women.” “Wash your mouth before talking about him, you scoundrel,” he asserted.

Previously, in the parliamentary debate, García-Gallardo finally asked in his PNL for the policy of “open doors of illegal immigration encouraged and promoted by the PP and the PSOE. In the text, the Board was urged to demand that the Government “immediately expel” illegal immigrants who are in Castilla y León.

Among García-Gallardo’s reproaches to the Government’s immigration policy, the Vox attorney has questioned whether unaccompanied migrant minors are unaccompanied minors and has called for methods to determine age.

The Vox attorney has stated that “it is about choosing who enters our house, to whom we open the doors of our nation. Love of neighbor, yes. But first that of our compatriots,” he defended. García-Gallardo has once again pointed out to the NGOs whom he has asked not to support that they “collaborate with the mafias” or that public aid for immigration be used to transfer illegal immigrants to their countries of origin. In his speech he requested that no more shelters be opened.

Another point of Vox’s PNL is that a popular consultation be held that proposes the expulsion of all illegal immigrants. “For those of us who have conscience and social sensitivity, it is very painful to see thousands of people jump into the sea, shipwreck on many occasions and die, but it is also painful to see the consequences of the neighborhoods, the consequences of mass immigration and how crime is increasing. violent in many of these, some very close to here,” García-Gallardo pointed out.

All Groups against

Vox’s PNL has been rejected by all parliamentary groups. On the part of the PSOE, Vox has been urged to “withdraw the initiative for dignity.” The attorney Rubén Illera, as Tudanca has done in X, has reminded García-Gallardo of the German origin of the attorney’s maternal grandfather.

“Was your grandfather a criminal for being an illegal immigrant before the State regularized his situation, are you one for being his grandson?” Illera snapped, recalling that Franco granted him nationality when he arrived in Palencia “fleeing.” of his country.” The Vox spokesperson responded by “washing your mouth” when talking about your family. According to García-Gallardo, his grandfather came to Spain “in search of a better future” and to “contribute.”

The PP has reproached García-Gallardo for “confusing” who has jurisdiction over immigration matters. The ‘popular’ attorney Noemí Rojo has pointed out that “Castilla y León is a welcoming land” and has denied that there is incompatibility between the position of the Board and that there are secure borders.

Soria NOW! has responded to Vox that in his province they are “forced migrants” since more than half of their population is outside of it. The attorney for the Mixed Group, Francisco Igea, has described the NLP as “nonsense” for not being able to “expel anyone from the Community because there are no borders in this country.”

As for the rest of the groups, Soria has already warned of national immigration that also exists in provinces such as Soria, with more than half of its population outside its territory; while from Mixto, both Pablo Fernández (UP) and Francisco Igea have criticized this Vox initiative, which UP has called “garbage and institutional racism.” The attorney for Unidas Podemos, Pablo Fernández, has stated that with the NLP Vox demonstrates that they are “racist, xenophobic and irresponsible.”
