For those who haven’t had it in mind for four years Dan Houser, one of the founders of Rockstar Gameshe left the company to open his new video game studio, Absurd Ventures, of which little news was given about advances in the company with a lot of potential. However, it is possible that the silence is ending, as there would already be details about what kind of project they are creating at the moment.
They have recently reported on a job offer, which has suggested that Absurd Ventures is working on a third-person open-world action-adventure game, something that you can tell will be very similar to the saga of Grand Theft AutoAfter all, the CEO has a school for these sandbox games. Specifically, they are looking for a designer of realistic people who can shape NPCs and also protagonists.
Here what it says in the vacancy:
Become the primary visionary and hands-on contributor to character, control, and camera design in an open-world action-adventure game. The person filling this role will lead a team of multidisciplinary specialists to deliver the best third-person combat and action in multiple game modes.
The requests also mention that the applicant has experience in combat design for an action game, as well as experience in the development of hand-to-hand fighting and shooting mechanics. It is worth mentioning that Houser you are not alone as a former developer of Rockstar at Absurd Venturessince he recently joined Lazlow Jones, whom many will know from the radio stations of the saga GTA being the narrator of them.

Author’s note: There would definitely be some interesting competition now that a key person has launched his own company. But I don’t think they’ll show it soon.
