G42 Group, the leading UAE-based holding company in the field of artificial intelligence and cloud computing technology, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Bulgarian Ministry of Innovation and Growth, with the aim of accelerating digital transformation efforts in the Republic of Bulgaria, and promoting the exchange of technical expertise between the various relevant systems.
This agreement comes within the framework of G42’s strategic efforts aimed at enhancing governments’ use of artificial intelligence technologies and solutions, to achieve the highest possible level of efficiency in various fields, as well as supporting the Bulgarian government’s aspirations to enhance its digital capabilities and develop its own technological system.
This agreement enhances the prospects for the joint development of artificial intelligence and cloud computing solutions between the two sides within various sectors, with a focus on a number of areas, including energy efficiency, digital governance and smart cities. Under this agreement, the G42 Group will also discuss with the Bulgarian Ministry of Innovation and Growth ways to cooperate with government and private institutions, to enhance the benefit of investment and commercial opportunities that in turn contribute to achieving the objectives of the agreement. The agreement was signed between the two sides on the sidelines of the official visit of a high-level government delegation from the Republic of Bulgaria to the UAE, headed by His Excellency Rumen Radev, President of the Republic of Bulgaria.
