From Madalina Ghenea 2023 to Gianmarco Tamberi 2024, an Olympic gold medal campaign for Yamamay
One year ago these days, Yamamay launched its campaign with the beautiful model and actress Madalina Ghenea, twelve months later the lingerie brand wins a (gold) medal with the Olympic and world champion (Budapest 2023) Gianmarco Tamberi in office.
The king of the high jump, awaiting the Paris 2024 challenge – where he will be Italy’s flag-bearer in the inaugural ceremony before being called to defend the title won three years ago at the Tokyo 2020 games (ex aequo with his rival and friend Mutaz Essa Barshim, a Qatari champion) – is the new testimonial of Yamamay. Videos and images of the campaign featuring Gimbo as the protagonist will be promoted through social channels, the press and television, with planning by Francesca Tinagli PR with Yamamay’s internal communications office. Tamberi will initially be the testimonial of Yamamay’s underwear collection with some of the most iconic garments such as the products of the new invisible line and the trunks of the fashion color line, best seller of the Yamamay Man underwear collections and then of the beachwear collection with some swimsuits from the summer 2024 collection. The collaboration will then continue throughout the autumn with the man line.
“I decided to participate in this project because I enjoyed the idea of posing for an underwear and swimwear brand like great athletes and champions did before me. I chose to do it for an Italian brand with a strong and consolidated identity like that of Yamamay, known by everyone, I think it will be fun to see my photos in all their shop windows and on their social channels”, commented Gianmarco Tamberi.
Gianluigi Cimmino, CEO of Yamamay, explained the reasons for choosing the new face of the brand: “Yamamay has always had a strong connection with sport, our collections have in fact been interpreted by many over the years sports testimonials from Federica Pellegrini to Cristiano Ronaldo.
