An American analysis of more than 72 million Facebook users confirmed that having rich friends during his childhood benefits him in the future.
Researchers at Harvard, Stanford and New York universities have found that when poor and middle-income children who have richer child friends and parents grow up, they are more likely to earn a higher salary later in life.
The researchers attributed this to the fact that making friends at school with children from high-income families can help shape a child’s aspirations or provide access to information for higher income or gainful employment.
The American Science Alert website for studies and scientific research stated that researchers found that if a child from a low-income family lives in an area with 70% of his wealthy friends, his income after puberty increases by 20% on average, which is a very strong association.
