GUASAVE, SINALOA.- The 45 points they scored in the penultimate quarter were not enough for Frayles de Guasave to win, as they ended up falling 105-102 against Ángeles de la Ciudad de México, at the start of the third series of the second round of the 2024 season of the Chevron Cibacopa League.
Those in the cassock with that disaster reached four defeats in a row and left their record at 1-4 in wins and losses in this round, while the capital's team remained at 2-3.
The history
For the first of the series, Lucas Zurita repeated his starting quintet, made up of David Sloan, Ty Prince, Michael Henry, Mario Kegler and Torren Jones.
For his part, Gustavo Quintero, strategist of the capital, sent Will Yoakum, Vander Blue, Johnny Hughes, Nana Opoku and Daquan Bracey to the floor of the Luis Estrada Medina gym.

For the Frayles, Michael Henry stood out on the court, who had a night of 25 points, followed in his footsteps by David Sloan and Ty Prince with 23 and 20 points, respectively.
Regarding the Angels, Johnny Hughes and Daquan Bracey stood out, both with 21 “lines”.
