Fourth dose Covid vaccine for immunosuppressed: ok from Aifa- Corriere.it

Green light from the Technical Scientific Commission (Cts) ofItalian drug agency (Aifa) at the fourth dose of the anti-Covid vaccine for severely immunosuppressed subjects. The Aifa CTS met yesterday and expressed favorable opinion sent to the Ministry of Health.

Technically this is not a real fourth dose, but the booster dose at the end of the primary vaccination course (consisting of 2 doses and 1 additional dose). The so-called fourth dose will be administered with mRna vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna). Times of administration are the same as for the booster dose for the general population.
